Niko and I made a milling machine for easy prototyping. Mainly for PCBs and plastic/aluminium parts. We haven’t done accuracy testing. It’s a bit poor for 0.2 mm traces, but will manage if you put effort into it. See the other videos for actual milling.
Both the stepper motors and the spindle motor are very cheap and all the parts are of minimum budget. But the result was very satisfying mainly thanks to the tools we had in use. Building the machine took quite a while, even though the design is fairly simple, but it was all worth it.
