CNC Router Tips Podcast Episode 45
Why I Bought A Tormach CNC Milling Machine.

I just bought a Tormach CNC Milling machine. In this episode I discuss why I bought a Tormach CNC Milling Machine, what my thought process was and how I plan to use it to build my business.
The Tormach PCNC 1100 is a CNC milling machine with a 5100 RPM 1.5 HP spindle. It has a work envelope of 18″ x 9.5″ x 16.25″ (X,Y,Z). It has a 34” x 9.5” table and weighs about 1300 pounds. My mill includes a power draw bar, automatic tool; changer and a full enclosure.
We also discuss some of the key systems you need to set in place before you start a small business. We discuss a new series of episodes which will tackle these topics.
