Making a Tabletop with Epoxy Inlay Using a CNC Router | Laguna Tools

On our latest project, we machine a beautiful piece or butcher block to create colorful accents with epoxy. Take a look as the inlay is first cut out by our SmartShop® SUV CNC router and the tabletop is then transformed with the filling in of the resin.

The lettering is first carved with a standard 1/4 inch end mill and is detailed with a standard 1/2 inch V-bit to finish it off. After the inlay is finished, we used a 2 1/2 inch three flute carbide bit for flycutting. Lastly, the table gets processed through the Industrial Widebelt Sander.
